Elizabeth A. Magovern is a partner at the firm. Elizabeth’s practice emphasizes municipal law, real estate, zoning and land use. Ms. Magovern serves as Solicitor to numerous Townships, Boroughs, Authorities and Zoning Hearing Boards throughout Berks County. She also specializes in civil litigation. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth graduated from Temple University School of Law, where she earned the distinguished award, Outstanding Trial Advocacy. After graduating from law school, Elizabeth served as an assistant district attorney for the Berks County District Attorney’s Office. Elizabeth currently serves as chair of the Municipal/Real Estate Law Section of the Berks County Bar Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Berks County Bar Association. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Berks County Conservancy.
Elizabeth Magovern also represents several non-profit organizations throughout Berks County including the Berks County Conservancy, Exeter Alumni Association, St. Francis Home and Teachers in the Parks. In addition, Elizabeth serves as the investigative officer for the City of Reading Charter Board.
Elizabeth is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in Vermont. She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District and Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Vermont Bar Association and Berks County Bar Association. Elizabeth also is Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated.
