Kathleen A. B. Kovach is Of Counsel to the firm. Her practice focuses in the areas of estate planning and estate administration, real estate, municipal law, zoning and land use, business and construction law. She began practicing in 1985 and has been in private practice for 30 years. She served as Solicitor to the Office of Recorder of Deeds of Berks County. She was also in-house Corporate Counsel for several construction contracting companies.
Kathy received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Albright College in 1982 and is a Jacob Albright Scholar. In 1985, she received her Juris Doctor degree from the Villanova University School of Law, and was admitted to the Berks County Bar, the Supreme Court of PA and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of PA. Kathy is a member of the Berks County Bar Association, PA. Bar Association and Berks County Estate Planning Council. She’s been a member of and served on numerous Berks County Bar Association Sections and Committees, including the Bench-Bar Conference Committee and the Orphans’ Court Rules Committee. She has volunteered for community programs on behalf the Association.
Kathy is a Berks County native and a Wyomissing resident who is active in the community. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Family Guidance Center from 1989-1995. She also served on the Albright College Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2003-2009, as President of the Association Board, a member of the Board Executive Committee and the representative of the Association to the Albright College Board of Trustees from 2004-2006. She has served on the Governance Committee of the Association Board from 2006-2009. Kathy was the recipient of the Albright College Alumni Association Distinguished Alumna Award in 2008. She has also continually served on committees of numerous sports organizations and clubs and has volunteered for many sports clubs and organizations.
